My indoor Christmas decor, as always, is
working with what I have. From my stash of
mostly thrifted 'stuff' - I just start plopping and somehow it works. This year I've done very little other than a 4 ft. tabletop tree. The dust from
our office redo means keeping the Christmas
baubles to a minimum...
(Those would be antique mittens & stockings.)
I found a wooden box in my garage and
used it as a resting place for the tree stand.
I added some plaid fabric and whatever else
I felt like throwing in there...
Love my 3 nativity figures - found at Dollar Tree..
Found some pre-glittered pinecones last year
so I stuffed some of those in the tree.
(50 cents a bag I think - sure beat making my own.)
Throughout the downstairs I sprinkled some
fresh boxwood - the only 'green' we have
on our property..
And just this week - I found a
berry wreath for $1.50.
It adds a little color to my outdoor
topiary.
(I'm working with a new photo editing program -
and have no idea how to crop my images!)
I'll share just a bit more tomorrow...

I really have ideas on using natural greenery outside...we have so much here at our house. I like how you used the boxwood! Looking very Merry, Joyce!

Your decor has such a cozy feel Joyce. I usually work with what I have too. It allows you to stretch your imagination.
Love your blog header. I will have a peek at you other posts and then might pop over to your pinterest pins.
