Just a word of caution to my blogging friends.
Be careful of 'referral spam'.
My first PicMonkey photo editing attempt. |
I don't know how they do it - but some very awful sites
can show up in your statistics under 'referring sites'.
Of course - they want you to click on them - and land where 'you don't want to'.
Although blocking the spam may not be easy or possible -
you can discourage it by not clicking on the links.
Rather than clicking - copy and paste into your browser address bar
(if you've got a filter on your computer!)
We've been having computer issues & my filter wasn't in place and I didn't know it.
Oh my - I think I've been scarred for life!

I have had some weird sites on those referel sites too. and I was wondering if I could get rid of it. I guess just leave it be... unless you have more information. Anyway, this sounds really disjointed, but I don't want those bad sites from me.
I'm not sure what referral sites are or what page you have statistics on? So sorry you have been scarred! That's awful!
Hi Joyce,
I had a recent freaky experience after looking for a chicken Marsala recipe. I had a photo show up on my iPad camera roll. It was just after family photos of my cousins. I would have been horrified if anyone had asked to see my photos and came across that one. I'm not going to dignify it with any description, but let's just say it was nothing I would have photographed. On a different note, I loved your front porch photo.
Cathy
