Here's an easy ornament idea I spotted today. It is
simply 2 pieces cut from brown package or
bag paper. Between each piece is a layer of batting.
The shapes were cut using a pinking shears and the
edges were stitched through 3 layers with a
sewing machine.
The decor of the top piece could be whatever you
wish - in this case, some greens and a homespun
fabric bow are the finishing touches.
So cute! Great for gift toppers, gift tags, your
tree, to hang from a lamp and so much more.
I think I'm gonna have to whip up some of these.
I'm thinking sheet music!

Great idea and sheet music is a great choice for Christmas... just think pinks for Valentine's Day too!
I love the homespun look, but I think sheet music would be awesome.
