My Touches of Christmas - Part 1...

Most of my Christmas decor is in place so that I can
focus on more important things for the remainder of the season.

My front door is simply adorned with a grapevine wreath.
I wrapped it with a forgotten old dollar store red foil boa
that I found in my stash...
A few fresh green sprigs and a word of inspiration
greet my guests.

More greens on a white plate with red cording
and another glitter ornament rest inside the front door.

And old slaw cutter gets a simple faux wreath treatment...

My basket wall pocket gets more greens and a big white star.  Why?
Because I had it - wanted to use it - & it wasn't working anywhere else.
How's that for profound?

This wall pocket also received a little holiday makeover...

Fresh greens are a big part of my decor this year.
We gathered fallen branches in a wooded community on
Thanksgiving day.  Will they last till Christmas day?
I'll keep you posted!

More posts on my Christmas touches to come!

I really like your holiday touches. I, too, like to decorate early and get all the "stuff" done so I can reflect on the true meaning of Christmas without my mind being pulled a thousand different directions. Thanks for sharing with us,
Blessings,
Betsy
