A patched together lifestyle of thrift and charm...

Got Stuff? Make Vignettes...

Every week - at my volunteer job - I get to make little vignettes or groupings.
It's utmost fun!  I usually find an 'inspiration piece' - then gather goods
(if I can find enough) to go with it.  The pink transferware plate
was the starting point for this display...

...which involved all things girly, cottage and pink.

For this next one - the French scene wood box caught my eye...

But I struggled to find anything that seemed to fit the theme.

Rather than abandon the idea completely - I went with the
unusual faux flowers and worked from there.

For this last one - I really just worked together a hodge podge
of things left over from previous weeks' displays.
Essentially it's a blue and yellow grouping with a kitchen serving theme.
Have stuff at your house?  Play with it!
A new arrangement just may have you falling
in love with a room all over again.

Tomorrow is Saturday!
Hoping to finally be able to take in a yard sale or too.
And you?   ~Joyce

What a fun volunteer job! It's like shopping for free isn't it? I like how you pair items together. They always look as though they should be bought as a set. Happy Spring!
Blessings,
Betsy
