Wire Mannequin...

For years, I did without a mannequin - too expensive.  One day, wonder of wonders, I found this wire version for a couple of bucks (yard sale).  She's not overly substantial and needs a bit of tenderness - but I think she's elegant.  When she's not 'working' for vintage clothing photo shoots - she is adorned simply with this pretty white scarf.  I'm thinking she needs a name...
She waits right by my front door - greeting all who enter...
Welcome to the home of Quilted Nest.  Let's get acquainted!

She's a beauty! I begged one of our local quilt stores to sell me one like her a few years back, as they had her stored in the back hallway - to no avail. I ended up with an even older one that has been dubbed "Virginia". Happy White Wednesday - Tanya
