Pretty Silver Basket...

I just had to show you this pretty basket I found
this week.  I love it with the ceramic robin's
eggs and white paper 'straw'...

It's a nice change from the traditional Easter basket!

Your Eyes...

"The lamp of the body is the eye...When your
eye is good, your whole body also is full of light.
But when your eye is bad, your body also is
full of darkness...
Take heed that the light which is in you
is not darkness."
Luke 11:34,25
Our rooster named Goose.
I want to be careful that that things I take
in with my eyes are indeed good things...
things pleasing to my Father God.

Shutter Project...

Slowly, very slowly, we are getting things done
in our office.   (We've been working on a redo
for several months.)  Today, My Love hung one
of the shutters we have planned for this space.
This shutter is my new display rack for some
of the vintage clothing that I sell.

It's still missing a hook or two (I need to find at
least one more) and a few other adornments -
but mostly - it is finished.
 I'm liking the mismatched hooks...
...and a few other metal pieces just for fun.
These wall hooks are gonna get a lot
of use!

Blogger Blogging Tip...

Just a quick tip for you today
(and I'm no techy kinda gal).
But I discovered this and found it
to be very helpful.
Whenever you use the link button to paste a
link in your blog post (from the compose tab),
a window pops up that looks like this...
Make sure you check that little orange box near
the bottom that reads "Open this link in a new window".  That way - your blog page always stays
up and whatever you're linking to will open in a
new window or tab.  Cool huh?  It will make getting back to your blog that much easier

For Moist Muffins...

Oh the things we all learn on Pinterest.  A recent discovery for me was how to keep muffins or buns moist when you reheat them in the microwave.
Simply add a cup of water when reheating to
help put moisture into the air.  The muffin will be
less dry as a result.
I tried it this morning - and my cornmeal muffin
was definitely more moist than yesterday.
Another tip - microwaving a cup of water by itself
will put enough moisture inside the microwave to make cleaning off any dried food a lot easier!
