I'm no artist - but I made an attempt to pretty up my snail mail today...
I figure the person receiving knows I'm no artist -
so my feeble attempts will at least bring a smile.
And that would be the goal!
Any day is a good day to send a 'thinking of you ' card to a friend,
family member or someone going through a bit of a rough time.
And in keeping with that sweet bird stamp...
Here's a bird photo My Love was able to capture yesterday.
Notice his eyes here are 'open'...

Makes perfect sense - but we still thought it was cute.

I love receiving mail that is artful on the outside. I think you did a marvelous job . . . keep it up! I am sure it is a bright moment in the boring life of a mailman, too. :)
I always enjoy hand written notes in this day of electronic mail. I'm sure everyone who receives a prettily decorated card like yours will love it and appreciate that you took the time to pretty it up. I just wrote three note to mail this morning. I didn't think to decorate the envelopes thought. :-)

Aww...that little bird is just adorable. And, your letter is so pretty! I just made out a list earlier today of people I want to send cards to. I hope to get it all done and get them sent out. God bless you, my friend. :)
